The Rolling Stones announce June 24 Verizon Center show

The Rolling Stones will wrap up (for now) the stateside portion of their "50 and Counting" tour with one final, nostalgia-fueled show, June 24 at the Verizon Center. Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. through rollingstones.com.
Ticket prices for the tour have been steep, running as high as $600 in cities such as Philadelphia. (This could explain why the band can claim credit for some of the highest-grossing tours of all time.) But promoters are offering fans more than 1,000 tickets priced at $85 and sold in pairs. The tickets have no seat assignments; concertgoers learn the location of their seats when they receive their tickets on the night of the show. (The June 24 date is subject to change should the Washington Capitals need Verizon Center for a Stanley Cup finals game.)
